Try/Step/Trip

A solo performance blending spoken word and step dance, created and performed by Dahlak Brathwaite. Drawing on his own experience, the piece follows an anonymous narrator through a court-ordered drug rehabilitation program, layering poetic verse and music into a work that moves between hip-hop and drama.
